I am glad you posted that clip. I think what he said is true for anything that we place above our worship of God. It is a good reminder to keep first things first in our lives and not be intoxicated by worldly things. The same can also be said about so many things in our culture today. We must always keep first things first.
I am a pilgrim in process, making progress by faith, as a believer and receiver of Jesus Christ. I seek to walk in His way as a wife, mother and soul-journeyer. Here you will find my thoughts about the grace of God sprinkled about the screen, like awkward crumbs falling from my life as I break the Bread of Life. Feasting upon Jesus, I seek to reverently take up each moment of life, be it momentous or mundane, in remembrance of Him.
This is the liturgy of real life.
