In honor of the first snow fall of Winter...
Snowflakes
.
.
.
.
Glistening gifts
Of ice and cold,
.
.
.
.
.
.
Whether in silence or storm,
Whether seen or scorned,
They descend, are given
.
.
.
.
.
.
As we bundle up
And hide ourselves
From their penetration.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Freeze time,
For just
A moment.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Give a glance ~
It's all the time
They have to give ~
.
.
.
.
.
.
And see the chiseled wonder
Of a single glint
In their Creator's sparkling eye
.
.
.
.
.
.
As He looks upon us
With showers of grace,
.
.
.
.
.
.
Of mercy's lace.
.
.
.
.
.

So excited to see you have posted so many times this week.
A lovely poem...not being from a cold climate it's hard to imagine the snow but your pictures and the words really helped.
